Tony Kart Racing Team: Oliver Rowland World Champion

Oliver Rowland is the new winner of the International title of the KF2 class. After Flavio Camponeschi was excluded from the rating, the English driver became the winner of the most important Title of the KF2 category.

Oliver, belonging to the Tony Kart Racing Team, raced his first international season in 2008 and thanks to his determination and speed, he managed to constantly improve during the whole season. Rowland highly improved from the technical point of view, reaching very important results. This season Oliver conquered the absolute third position in the WSK Series, he won the selection for the European Championship in Alcaniz and gained a fantastic second position in the World Cup, becoming nowadays an absolute title.
The English driver will make his début in the queen category, the KF1, on the occasion of the last International meeting, in Macau from 27th to 30th November.

“Obviously I am very happy about this victory, although I wanted to conquer it on the track. Anyway, during the whole season I think my performances were great, constantly improving thanks to the team which placed at my disposal a fantastic material in every occasion and an excellent support.
As said, I would have preferred obtaining the victory on the track, but this spurs me to prove even more all my skills in next races, starting from the race in Macao which will take place in 15 days.”
